Caves of Arta directions
The Caves of Arta is formed by a spectacular array of caverns on the Capdepera east coastal region of Majorca, it presents a vista so overwhelming that tourists swarm in large numbers to this honeycomb of caverns. On entering the Arta Caves, an amazing foyer adorned with stalagmites and stalactites and the ashen walls of the caves will mesmerize you, walk past the vestibule and you will see the startling stalagmite called Reina de las Columnas (Queen of the Columns).

While touring the Arta Caves you will also be showed the chambers with Dantesque names like Paradisio (Paradise), Inferno (Hell) and Purgaturio (Purgatory). Here in the guestbook you will find the names etched by some of the greatest luminaries like Alexandre Dumas, Jules Verne, Victor Hugo and Sarah Bernhardt.
